Sail & Cover - Repair and Maintenance Services

We recognise that sails and covers are not something you want to replace every year, that's why we make our manufactured goods very hard wearing and robust.

But for everything else we can keep your equipment 'ship-shape' by offering a full sail and cover, repair and maintenance service including:

Sail Valeting

We offer a full sail valeting service in our 'wet room'. Whatever you have put your sail through, our specialists will bring it back to good order.

The process removes dirt, salt and sand and involves:

• power washing
• close inspection and gentle scrubbing
• drying
• packaging for storage

Note: We only use mild liquid soap (rather than chemicals which damage the material) so we cannot guarantee complete stain removal. Mildew is usually removed but rust stains often endure after the process.

Sail Repairs and Alterations

General repairs to sails - tears, chaff marks, broken leach and bolt ropes etc. We also replace sacrificial strips to genoas.

All sails can be stored for winter on our secure premises at no extra charge.

General Repairs and Cleaning

Equipment covers kept outside in the elements can get damaged or dirty. We can give them a clean up so they don't look scruffy eg patching up ripped material, new zips, windows etc
